I have 17x9 and 17x10.5 wheel replica fr500s. I bought some camel chrome sleeve snap in valves. It says it fits a .453" rim hole. Is this the right size? I did not think they would make different sizes.

These things are not "snapping in." Am I supposed to hammer this thing in or what?

It looks like that

it is the right size, the problem is to be installed easily the need to be pulled into place not pushed. if you lube it up with dish soap that will help also.

P.S. if you put an old vavle cap on and grab it with a pliers you will be less likely to damage the theads.

At work, we have a bar that threads onto the valve stem, and then the handle bends over the lip of the rim to pull the valve stem through. Might try that cap and pliers thing (and lube it up if you're having a tough time getting it in )
