Vert Seats

I have a 94 GT convertible and I need new seats. It's hard to find used leather vert seats but I found some nice ones for a regular non-vert coupe. I know the seatbelt guide plastic thingy is needed for vert seats, but can I somehow remove it from my old ones and install it on some regular seats? Anybody have any suggestions?

Front seats only? They are basically the same. All front seats from 79-04 will interchange. I have a set of 2002 coupe seats and they had the seat belt loop attached to the seat between the headrest and the seat top. It is probably close to the same as the vert loop. As for the rears, they are different.

i've swapped in non guide seats, and they don't make much of a difference, I wouldn't worry about it.
