First off id like to say....wow.... lol. I cant belive what kinda power these things produce. I bought it used from a buddy and it has some wear on her i was wondering... what else could i do to make these things put more out. Im looking for a little more power from eather the motor or supercharger... To get a little idea of what i have ill put the list at the bottom. Also it sounds a little weird at idle is this normal?? I know its kinda hard to answer without a good idea but i cant explain it. lol . I just dont want to go to the track and be looking like a fool. Ive seen some supercharged stangs run some really crappy times and all my buddies have faster cars and i finally got some money to do things after christmas and all... hopfully my times wont be bad????

Rebuilt 302 Stock cam/heads

Underdrive pulleys / 3:73 Gear
Vortech V1 SC with Stock Pulley
75MM TB/ EGR Plate
Stock Cluth and so on...

Gears would make a nice difference. Suspension work would also probably net some better times, start with control arms and maybe drag oriented shocks/springs. Set of good tires will also help.

Sorry to hijack...

I'm in the same boat bro...I just put on my S-trim, lots of fun, but no traction right now. I know I need to upgrade, but this is what I'm working with so far:

Front:
stock K-member (have a tubular, just waiting to get control arms and coil over kit)
stock control arms
new gabriel struts
'95 spindles/brakes
stock steering gear
camber/caster plates (MAC)

Rear:
Lakewood traction action LCA's
Lakewood UCA's
stock gabriel shocks
factory in-axle bushings

245/45/17's all 4 corners

...planning on upgrading to 275/40/17's out back-probably nitto d/r's
then:
tubular k-member
tubular control arms
coil over w/200lb springs
better camber/caster plates (like UPR or steeda)

coil over rear shocks
torq box reinforcements upper and lower
6pt cage...

To those of you out there that have a good launching vehicle, does that sound about right? Or something need to be better or changed?
