VT STage 2 cams

Today after work dropping the car off to get the Stage 2's in I am so excited. Going to try to get to the dyno Friday to check the A/F. Can't wait to hear it fired up What should I expect besides the stares at redlights from the idle?

About how much is the install costing you if you don't mind me asking?

I see alot of fast N/A GTs running VTs stage 2s.

Congrats!!! You already got your cams in???? Im still waiting on my stg 1s LOL. They SHOULD have been here yesterday. ANYWAYS yea, let us know what the #s are!
I am expecting mid 20s untuned and 35+ tuned from your stg 2s.
How high are you planning on shifting that thing? To use all the power, most shift at 6500, but our cars would be living on borrowed time at that. JMO but you should stay around 6250 to be safe....AND CHECK YOUR OIL LV REGULARLY. At high RPMs these cars will burnup some oil, and then it gets low W/O people knowing and they spin a rod bearing.

mine are ordered along with the MPH 2.5 heads....i think that will wake things up some. Looking forward to seeing how much you gain.

Can you lets us know how much you power you got when you get it dyno'd? Planning on getting a set of cams myself so far I'm leaning torwards comp cams but i heard good things from vt cams so know i'm like which one.

Nevermind, just got the cams in a few hours ago. WOOT! Me and my dad will instal them this sunday after church...along with a few otherthings like a 75MM throttle body, JLT RAI, and one other thing.

I ended up calling her on the 13th to confirm it, I had been waiting since May, do you know if they ship straight from VT?

Yep, Scot@vtengines over at MD told me that they will drop ship them straight to us. What stage did you go with?

Probably depends on where you are located, but if they are not there tommorow I would call up MPH and see what the deal is. They should be able to find out something.

Rhonda called me yesterday how long did it take you to get them in? I may have to wait a few weeks for the heads, she wasn't sure if they had any finished.

A friend decided to open his own shop up. He was a mechanic at Joe Cooper Ford in MWC & decided to go in business for himself. He specialized in 4.6 motors. Did head/engine swaps.

my vt stage 2's should be here in the next few days, and the mph 2 1/2 heads sometime next week. now that the cams are off backorder, it looks like we are going to have a wave of cammed mustangs hitting the streets soon
