I dont know about pressure drop, dont think it's an issue, it was from ebay an import tuner auction, lol.

about $7k total including labor for my friend building the piping

Congrats! I think the sense of accomplishment by doing a kit yourself would be enough to justify it. The only think I would have done differently is that I would have made some sort of diagram of the piping so I could make a **** load of them and sell a reasonably priced kit. How cool would it be to just have a piping and header kit where you could choose the turbo, inj, maf, and get your own tune done.

Does the straight back exhaust sound good? I've considered doing this on my stang...just don't know if I'll like the sound or not. Does it hurt performance at all?

Awesome job man, but for $200 more you could have bought the mongoose HP twin turbo kit, had it installed and tuned by MPH.

id still feel pretty damn cool popping my hood and showing off i had a turbo. plus if i got the kit installed by MPH (as sum1 mentioned) it would be done yb professionals and there would have to be some sort of warantee.
