Want to build your own turbo kit? CHECK OUT MY SITE!

I think kits are stupid, especially since most are $5-7K and you dont get:

A) Upgraded fuel system (Boost a pumps are gay)
B) New ignition for better control
C) Wideband
D) A BADASS Precision turbo
E) Subframe Connectors
F)STAND ALONE COMPUTER (yeah, that's right my stock ECU isn't even in the car), we have AFR targeting (some people might know how awesome that is), variable boost control based on speed, adjustable rev limiter and 2 step launch control at a push of a button, etc.
G) Most importantly ---> The parts that I WANTED rather than pre-chosen crap.

All of the extras add up to approx. $1500 depending on how you look at it, and it's a much better setup than the kits.

I'm happy with it!

And I'm not sure why you guys dont liket he megasquirt, it's a badass system and a lot easier to use than the other systems I've seen with on my friends cars.

And as for having a company tune my car for me.... poop on that!

Glad you guys like the car, I hope it can help point some people in the right direction in the future.

I read through it last night, and its an awsome build. So you pulled the motor back out and are forging it? Dang I dont know how you get all the money to do this crap LOL. I am going for the twin turbo kit from HP installing it at my house (shop by that time) and fabing in the 2-1/2 Dr gas X pipe instead of the 2-1/4 H that comes with it. So how much boost are you planning on running?

My DVD that's on my other site (www.1320video.com) has helped a little, but mainly themoney I had leftover from graduating from college, scholarhsips helped me get through that and I had saved money left over, the car's paid off, and I'm getting the forged motor with a new tremec and clutch. :hail2:

I'm just not seeing how you could spend $7k on what you've done? Is the Megasquirt setup that expensive?

Just wondering, because Ive built a couple setups (for the 5.0) and have a single setup planned for my 01GT and have figured on a $1900 budget, which would include every thing needed down to the tune. Im just going to chip it, run non intercooled, and keep the boost low. I guess you could save a bit more by buying used or finding killer deals..

BTW, your site is awesome, and very informative with all the pics!
Would love to see more video if you have it ( of the car)
