want to replace upper intake

hey gang. new guy here. I'm building a 1990 gt. I plan on running a 70mm throttle body and egr spacer. I want to replace the upper intake only. More for looks than performance and my stock intake is pretty trashed. are there any upper intakes(edelbrock, professional products, etc) that will fit my stock lower intake?

id go with a new upper and lower combo, the lower is the restrictive part as far as the stock intake goes. You can get a nice newer style edelbrock performer for under 300 if you shop around

Comp Cams used to have a polymer box upper that fit the lame lower runners of the stock intake.

When I switched from the Cobra upper to the Comp Cam upper though, I did lose a noticable amount of torque. Then again the top end did come alive very nicely at about 3800rpm.

you can get a cobra upper and lower for under 300 and the exlorer upper/lower for well under 300 also. Look into those.
