Buy my turbo kit for $3,000. It made 480rwhp and 507rwtq on my 302 with 8psi of boost and the car ran 11.4@121mph. The turbo is big enough to support over 800rwhp if you wanted to go faster down the line.

Yes your motor can handle it as long as you dont go nuts with boost and have a GOOD TUNE. Can't emphasize that enough.

I would also like to know what kind of a kit you can get for 1500 bones and what it includes. Sounds real sketchy.

My guess is that he's going to build it. Building a kit for $1500 isnt at all unusual.

You're gonna want to downgrade those gears.....4.10 is gonna be too much.

Turbo
Headers
Crossover
Wastegate
BOV
intercooler
cold side pipes
MAF
42lb injectors
Tune

Just to name a few items......

No, he said his buddy was selling it to him. Not to mention going from no parts to a running turbo for $1500 is VERY unusual and highly unlikely in regards to building one.

turbos like load. You won't be able to build and stay in boost long with 4.10s. Most people use 3.27s and 3.55s.

I didnt read "hook up" as sell....

That could be him selling it or building it.

Yea its unusual but its happened plenty of times before. If you build it over 1-2 years and can wait for some deals to pop up....you can do it.

Search. Search. Search. Search.

You only found twin headers huh? I'd hate to hear about the rest of your combo....

pony down performance, BG turbo, to name a few companies that should have both sets of headers/crossovers.

Ever see those cars that have a BUNCH of parts thrown at them yet their performance is nothing special?

Its cause guys throw **** together and think its supposed to work.

PLEASE research your combo from head to toe, front and back. Have you even searched for threads that have "turbo" and "gears" in them?

Not one will be talking about guys running 4.10s....

That only applies for turbocharged then. What if I supercharge it? Since theres no boost lag, would 4.10 be alright?

I realize that 4.10 is more for acceleration over top speed, but personally I would rather have a better 0-60 time then a outstanding quarter mile time.

4.10s is even a bit much for a supercharged pushrod motor. you go through the gears too fast. the mod motors like a taller gear cause they can bog down a lot. personally i wouldn't go higher than 3.73s with any kind of boost.
