so im literally on my way over to my GF's house to put on the missing part for my speedcal cuz her father has a lift and everything - anyways im cruising on a back road (been avoiding freeways) at a good amount of speed but then theirs a big flat bed truck with hay in the back blowing off
i just washed my car so i see no one's in the oncomming and i pass him with a good amount of accleleration about 15 seconds after i get back into my lane a sheriff passes me and i see him slam on the breaks - Damnit!
so i just pulled over and waited for him, i figure screw trying to out run it. He pulls up behind me and walks over to my window, didnt write down my liscence plate on the ticket first! sweet. He asks me "you know how fast ytou were going back there?" "well no, cause my speedo isn't working" "isn't working? come on.." "well it is working, but i had gears installed in my car two weekends ago and i tried to install a speed caliberator to correct the difference last weekend but i was missing a VSS connector that wasn't sent to me so its still off a good amount and im on my way to fix it now" a pasue "thats probably the best excuse I've heard yet" "the truth usually is....". I see him look down at the ticket sheet and im like *****!
then he says " you know your supposed to know your speed by pacing traffic even without a speedometer right?" "yes sir" (guy's like 6 years older than me so probably like 26 calling him sir sux). then he says "so what ratio you get?" 
"uhm...3.73's" "ahh you should have gone 4.10's i see you have an auto" (saweeeet) "you have a stang?" "yup, two of em - nice ride, have a good day"
