water pump pulley removal

This is on a 2.3, but I am entertaining the idea of changing the water pump myself. I have the belts off and tried to loosen the 4 bolts that hold on the pulley, but the pulley spins. What is the best way to loosen the bolts and keep it from spinning. I do not have an impact gun, just hand tools.

put the belt back on break bolts loose and then take belt off. you should be able to hold the pulley still by hand to get them out at that point

yea put belt back on and try again, or put screwdriver between two bolts and loosen the others., if it is a stick, have it in gear may help.
