This is on a 2.3, but I am entertaining the idea of changing the water pump myself. I have the belts off and tried to loosen the 4 bolts that hold on the pulley, but the pulley spins. What is the best way to loosen the bolts and keep it from spinning. I do not have an impact gun, just hand tools.
