water pump question

does a high flow water pump actually keep the engine cooler. is it better then a stock one. mine leaks a little on top where that little hole is not sure if that opens or what. should i buy a summit high flow water pump is it worth it

It wont make your engine cool any better. But it will make your engine flow coolant much better. Some claim they flow each cylinder head equally.

if ur cars stock just get a stock replacement, if your planning upgrades, depending on the price of the high flow wp, just get the HFwaterpump - its not gonna make much of a differnce, the stock water pump keeps my car cool enough -

If you plan on running Alum. heads I would upgrade the water-pump and get a bigger/better radatior.
