A guy around where I used to live had the same truck, and had a custom X-pipe on it. Sounded heavenly, especially when he would ride out gears with the 5 speed

I'm not 100% sure, but I would assume that the shorty headers would fit, cams & heads should fit as well, but Im sure a true dual X pipe & catback system would have to be custom...Not sure what rear end Ford trucks have in them, but if its an 8.8, Ford racing gears will work...

I didn't even know V8 F150's were available with a 5 speed?

Thats pretty sweet man... A V8 shortbed with a 5 speed...

If I had 1, I would dump it on some nice Billet deep dish 20" wheels....

Any pics?

I would do a nice drop on the above mentioned twanky inch bullitts, gears, shortys w/ a custom exhaust, and u/d pulleys. I would also look into a better clutch. I'm assuming its a 4x2, so these would all be good mods.

would you happen to know if 3.73 or 4.10 would be better for the truck?
