Have any of you long timers noticed the amount of traffic here has slowed
way down

Also ... The tech seems to not be as meaty as it used to be

If it was meat and potatoes .........

Its mostly taters

From time to time

Seems to slip on down to .......... Milk Toast

Don't get me wrong

Still love the place and the peeps :Word:

It's just changed from how it ... used to be

The cars are getting older and relatively there weren't that many made. You hit a point after so many years where they are junkers or immaculate with not many in betweens. Then in another 10 years you find out if the cars had any real staying power or special in any way.

I have noticed things a bit slow as well. I think it is just the time of year.

I have always noticed growing up either everyone was on vacation or school just started up around this time. My guess is people are just busy...that and with people pinching pennies it = less people with mod questions.

summer always sees a drop in members/posts. people are out enjoying the car and weather and don't want to sit at the computer screen. won't be too much longer before it picks back up again.

I don't know about the 94-95 boards, but Stangnet overall is still going strong. See the stats here Stangnet statistics

The only downward trend is on the yearly post and member chart you can see the cumulative curve with a very slight downward curvature (i.e. negative sloping derivative). That only tells us that Stangnet is growing at a decreasing rate. but still growing nonetheless. It's currently ranked #531 on the net and #60-something for car-related forums by post count which is up there. Still not on par with Honda Tech or the Neon forums (#2 and #6 respectivelyin car-related)

Car forum stats: Brands Forums and Message Boards

I have to wonder if the crash we had in 04(?) hurt our rankings. How is Stangnet so much lower than the Corral or SVT Performance?

Still, we have Dark Fog which makes SN look really sweet
