Okay, I've taken the mach in for warranty work for many odd sounds... First reason was the AC compressor which got replaced... Then it started making a hissing sound with AC on and i took it to another dealer- said it was not fixable and he adjusted pressure or some bs like that.

Now, when i start the car it makes a rpm dependant whine/squeak noise for the first 10-15 minutes (as rpms go up, sound increases...almost sounds like a squealing belt) BTW-it started when i got it back fromt the dealer and installed my catback.

However, after 10 or so minutes that sound quits and i am left with only the injector clicking sound, some weird hissing noise of the AC that is random and another ticking noise that goes on and off at unexpected times.

This thing sure makes a lot of annoying fu**ing noises

Not to mention the random squeaks and rattles all mustangs have

I hear ya, I have an 04 gt and it makes all kinds of noises, loud annoying sucking whistle noises at like 2k rpms, pinging issues, rattles, ac knob rattles. Died on the freeway. Took it to the dealership 4 times for the same problem and they gave me 4 different answers as to what the same problem was. Nothing like having a brand new car with probs. I was thinking about trading in for a 04 mach1, guess I should just be happy with what I have. Just roll the windows down and you wont hear a thing Guess us 04 guys should have waited for the 05.

What do you expect. It's a Ford. You wouldn't be better off buying a 2005 because they all have cylinder head problems. It's going to take a while before Ford gets it right. Until then, just live with the problems and defects that the Mustang has. And purchase yourself the ESP Extended 7 Year/100,000 Mile Warranty. It sounds like you're going to need it. And don't worry. Ford will get it right someday.
