JK That is a pretty sweet truck and it haul arse I couldnt see having one as a DD when gas is over 3 bucks. My Cobra gets 24-25 MPG and I feel that from time to time, 10 MPG would kill me.
That is a pretty kick ass truck and the price is decent too.
Im actually going car shopping tomorrow, but a v8 would kill me in gas. My commute is 26 miles each way. If it was closer, i might go take a look at one of those

I looked at the SS and the SRT8 cherokee. I liked them both, the cherokee better, but you are right, the extra 10-15k is just not worth it.
I bailed on both of them based on both of them get worse gas mileage than what i already have.
I read in some of the SS forums, that some guys claim 17mpg to 19mpg, which is odd because others claim 9 mpg.
As far as a performance suv goes, the ss is the best bang for your buck.
Too bad ford gave us the adrenaline, just without the 03 cobra engine from the prototype.
Very nice! My buddy has an 06 awd with a custom tune, intake, full exhaust with no cats. Hauls ASS (and thats an understatement). Best of luck with it, they seem to be great vehicles
I haven't really like them since they changed the design from the original. They used to look more sporty and not as long, but I like the one you bought. Mine had the straight 6 in it and I used to tow my Mustang around everywhere with it. The LTZ interior package was top notch! We had it for about 1 1/2 years, traded it in and bought a new Yukon. I wanted something a little bit bigger.
