Well she’s done.

A COMPLETE 97 RIO RED v6 5speed /w gray cloth interior and no radio

TO a COMPLETE 98 GT Auto /w Black Leather interior and Mach 460 sound.

It took 10 days to swap everything and I mean everything.

We (me and my dad) swapped the following: fuel tank, fuel lines, rear end, driveline, tranny, engine, radiator, all the interior including the dash, every wiring harness in the car, the brake booster and all the brake lines, and more crap.

the car now has the following mods:
PI Headswap, Polished Heads, ARP Headstuds, Ported Plenum, Ported MAC 70mm TB, MAC CAI, Intake Spacer, Steeda Pulleys & T/A, S.D Coils, Livewires, AC delete, B&M Cooler, Transgo Shift Kit, FRPP Headers, MAC O/R Xpipe, Flowmaster A/T Catback, Bullitt rims, 275 BFG Drag Radials, Eibach Sportlines, Cobra Headlights, Cobra Style Corners, Hawk pads, Brembo Rotors, Tokico Shocks & Struts, CGS subframes, and MAC Control Arms. (Im positive I forgot something)

I also have 4.10 gears and a 31 spline posi, but I need axles to install everything.

The only thing that is left to do tomorrow is get the keys programmed to the computer so we can start the car. It cranks over great and we don’t anticipate any problems except maybe with the tranny with we rebuilt and installed a shift kit.

It should be a fun day tomorrow.

So what so you guys think she will run in the 1/4 and how much power is she going to put down?

Seems a lot of work for maybe 240rwhp at max...especially when going from a 5spd to an auto
I don't see how you saved a year on the car (97 to 98) by adding all this

It is alot if work. and I think with maybe just a PI headswap and Exhaust I have more than 240 lol. and I call it a 98 because there is nothing on the car that is a 97 anymore. And I went to an auto because it can handle more power and it is alot more consistent, plus I had a stall converter, but it was wrong so I had to send it back anyway Auto + Drag racing = Teh win.
