I was back in PA visiting family and I got a chance to head up to the Erie Speedway to see the NOPI drifting competition. It was insane to see how those guys drive.
It seems like a lot of fun but definitely hard on your car. A lot of them had problems with their cars(blown engines, clutches), one lost its bumper after hitting a barrel but luckily no one hit the wall or each other(which is very possible since they follow each other).
A lot of the times the drivers were only inches off the wall and right on each others bumpers when going around the turns
This was my first time going to a drifting event but I am definitely a fan now. I would highly recommend checking out any drifting events that come around.
The car show that was with it was pretty lame... mostly ricers and not even nice ones at that. There was a bunch of cavaliers and other crap lol.
