I am not to sure but I have basically the same car as you except the i have 4.11 and a aftermarket fuel pump and 24 pound injectors and i ran with et drag radials a 12.8 @ 107mph and thats spining the whole time. I would defintly look into the fuel pump and injectors and switch ignition, that helps alot too. All I had done with ignition is a new msd distributor and coil, buts thats all.

24s will do fine with 300 at the wheels. But not being able to give yourself more fuel pressure is hurting you.

I think those are pretty decent numbers. The best ive pulled so far is 13.70@107, with some traction issues.
You dont need 30# injectors for the hp your running.

before i got my 255lph pump i was running almost the exact same set up as you but with afr 165's and the stock cam instead. i got a wide band o2 kit and found i was running 26:1 so i upped the fuel pressure. no matter how high i went it still was running about 20:1. thats when i got a new pump and had to put the fuel pressure all the way back down so that i could run 13.5:1. in other words, that stock pump is causing you to run lean and loose tons of power. you may not have pre-detonation, i never did but i was super lean. get a 255lph pump and a new reg. and youll notice the difference.

also its a convertable so its going to be heavier

Definitly needs more fuel....and some tuning. You'll get that thing running awesome, don't worry.

id am definatley with the rest, fuel pump! AFPR! and a few dyno runs. My bud with a 98 GT, which has a 99-04(forget which year) saleen motor, his fuel pump was going south and he didnt even break 190 rwhp on the dyno cuz he was running so lean!

i had this same problem except my car would only go 14.1@98 i swithched to a 190 lph fuel pump and the next weekend went 13.3@105 with a much worse 60' time. I would change that pump out asap.

where did you run? lapeer is notorious for bad mph

anyways....i think your close actually....w/ a 'vert

i weighed my old '90 lx 'vert w/ me and 1/2 tank was 3600 lbs ....and 3.73's and 100 shot it went 13.60's from a 15.10 pass same day NA

so your looking at about a 140 hp gain from your stock times, of course some of it gearing and traction, so a little less....but all in all...not far from where you should be. i would guess your combo good for 12.80-13.0

and remember what was your 60' like b4...more hook can be less mph

i went 13.7@102 with a bad converter at milan, then the 13.2@102 at lapeer
Im putting my car on a major diet this winter
yes lidio at alternative, im 5 minutes from his shop.
60 foot was 2.24 when i ran the 13.7 NOT spinning the 225 tires in the rear due to the converter, at lapeer i cut a 1.9 on the BFG's

i guess it def. makes sense that that i would be going lean on the 88 lph pump, im gonna swap for a 255 this winter and a whole bunch of other stuff (ignition, roll cage, bottle, etc.) i just wanted around the mid 12 area on motor then spray the piss out of it... well see well see
