Without knowing at what altitude he is racing at it is hard to say how HP is losing because of the altitude.
We need to look at your dyno sheet, the shape of the curve at peak HP power will dictate how many RPM after that point you need to shift.

im not sure the elevation is at no problem raceway, bout 60 miles west on new orleans, but i was trapin 101.90 and runnin a 14.23. i still think if i can launch better i can get into the 13's. im basicaly stock except o/r x-pipe, weld in flows, & h&r ss springs. but i run with eagle f-1 ds-g3 295/35/zr18. i havin problems launchin right now. i guess i need to launch at bout 3500 and i might be good.

But in this case he isn't trying to figure out the difference in two different track times/trap speeds. All runs were done at the same track which means regardless of the track's parameters or elevation his car is making the power to achieve 105-106 traps or 102 depending on the wheels at that track and elevation. If anything, the temps would be a bigger question mark if he goes again for testing. Personally, I feel he isn't shifting where he needs to shift, whether that is higher (doubtful but a possibility) or lower based on his powerband. My car traps it's highest when I shift in the 5800ish range...

My peak with comp stage 2's are 5250...so I make sure to shift back into the power band...try setting your shift light a little lower...
I'm begging for a 12sec pass also...can't seem to break 13.3 though...I feel for ya bratha!!!!

Well - those numbers seem pretty slow for your mods. If you have the 270 cams in you should DEFINITELY look into an aftermarket intake manifold. The body kit probably isn't helping you on the 1/4 mile. As for the S2000 - ouch. That's a tough pill to swallow. 17 by 8 inchers with Nitto's for the win!

Well maybe I'm just not following what you are trying to get at. I don't see how figuring out his rwhp at say sea level has to do with the rwhp he is making in his home area . More than likely he was dyno'd and tuned in the same area he is racing in which means if the dyno sheets are ever found the numbers should be comparable to the traps he is running. But if he dyno'd say in Houston but races in Vegas then yes, there would be some questioning going on. Simple misunderstanding it seems.

lvmustanggt, contact the place where you did your dyno and they should be able to email or print you out new dyno sheets. Without that you are going to be shooting in the dark in how best to utilize the power your car is making. Either that or you are going to have to play with shift points at the track to figure out where your car traps the highest.

When I see Well - those numbers seem pretty slow for your mods I replied "Without knowing at what altitude he is racing at it is hard to say how HP is losing because of the altitude."
