what all is needed for better handling / less body roll?

Get FMS upper arms there cheap and the least binding of any upper you can buy. Also for the lower rears get something with a spherical bearing on the axle end and a multi-piece (3-piece) poly bushing on the chassis end. Badly setup upper/lower arms with wrong (overly stiff) bushings may seem to improve handling but near the limits it they will cause the suspension to bind causing a very unstable situation. Not to mention that binding can cause damage to your torque boxes etc. Lots of the hard poly stuff is great for the drag racers but you want handling so whats mentioned is what you need. Dont skimp out on the lowers, it's sucks to spend time and money to do a job twice.

Sorry didnt read the whole thread...YES MM LCA s' is the way to go and stick with rubber bushings in the uppers. OH and FYI, because of their stiffer shock/strut valving and springs the cobras actually came with softer front and rear swaybars. Also, light understeer isnt too bad...it can easily be fixed with a little throttle input. Plus its safer in the rain...just a thought. If I were you I wouldent go with stiffer swaybars, but if yours are damaged I would consider going with a higher quality replacement and possibly softer than stock. I run a STEEDA up front and stock in the back (but my setup is different from yours).

so as far as the rear goes, this is what i need to look into?:

any alternatives you know of? same constructions and geometry but lower price? i know MM makes good stuff. i guess you get what you pay for

MM truely does make excellent products. The only copy to this design (that I know of) are the ones I previously posted in the link, the Pro3's. They offer 2 types: the standard ones with 3-piece urethane bushings at both ends (don't get these), or the "race" ones, with the MM-style spherical bearing at the axle-end. The ONLY myth I have heard about them is that the teflon lining they use in their spherical bearings is inferior to the MM's and wears-out over the years. This may or may not be true. When in doubt, get the tried, tested and true MM arms. After all, getting a good set one time is always better than doing a cheap set twice.
