I have new NGK plugs, yellow injectors, dunno what lb that is, What makes them run rich. i need a list so i can start to do each one at a time.

ya check for the vacume leaks, after that check timing, and oxygen sensors, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter.if all else fails go to checker auto parts and get the digital code scaner for the ob1 system if your car is 95 or earlier and obd2 if 96 to present. hope this helps.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

+1. The big Auto Parts stores like Advance and Autozone will pull your codes for free. Just write down the exact code and google search it when you get home. Bad oxygen sensors kill fuel economy.

That's incredibly rich! I'd wonder if you had a leak in your tank rather than be running rich. I had a hole in my tank that cause me to leak gas if I had more than a quarter tank in. One new tank later, and problem solved.

Yea, Its not a hole, I thought that too, but if you put ur hand by the tailpipe, it blows out liquid gas......!!!!

You'd snuff out spark if you were running that rich.

The tank grommet having torn was also my first guess. Once the tank gets down a ways, it will stop leaking (if someone inspects it at that time).

Is the car missing at all? No stuck injectors or grounded injector-driver wiring?

Sounds like it's time for tailpipe flamethrowers, then.

I agree with Hissin, your engine would be running like crap (if at all) with that much fuel. Too much fuel and it won't atomize into the air mixture and won't burn. If I remember right, it's the gas vapor that burns and not the liquid fuel itself.

I'll have to defer to Hissin on how to diagnose stuck injectors, never done anything like that before.

Well, I have some used, but known good injectors...ima try next. i turn the key on and not start it, the fuel pump doesnt stop priming. It just keeps going, then after about 10 seconds, i can here a hissing running water sound from my fuel rail/injector area.... i cahnge my fuel pressure regulator and the hissing stopped, but i still have abad miss. I pulled my plugs off one by one, and each one shocked the everlovin crap outta me good rush, so i know my msd coil is working, except the #4. New plug, new wire, still no sparky sparky. but that doesnt tell me why the rest are running so rich. In fact, i need a new word because rich doesnt describe it. Im not sure what it is, but speaking of vacuum, there is a cylinder thing about 3" around and 4" tall hooked to my vacuum system. It has a connector in it, and it fell on my header. so its melted pretty good. What is it so i can buy a new one.

Thank,s

Thing that fell off is probably you charcoal canister, need it if you have emission testing there or if you don't replace it plug the line so you don't have a vacuum leak

Does the charcoal canister have a connection to the wire harness? Do you have a picture?

That piece is not the charcoal canister, the actual canister is in the passenger fender. That part is the CANP (Canister Purge Solenoid). It regulates vacuum to the charcoal canister and is necessary for proper functionality of the evaporative emissions system. It's mainly used to collect gas fumes from the tank and vent the fumes into the intake manifold. If it's damaged the system won't be able to vent and you may get a gas smell under the hood. It doesn't affect performance and should be repaired. Also make sure the vacuum hoses aren't damaged, you'll also get a gas smell and a good vacuum leak if you don't.

Different system, emissions != evaporative emissions. I personally recommend replacing it.
