I'd have to say the TA would win the race.

i'd go with the mustang. it will pull off the line. the TA has better top end, so he is gonna catch up towards the end. but all in all i'd say the mustang. LT1s aren't the bigger brother of LS1s.

How about a stock 00 gt 5 speed?

And would anyone know an estimated 1/4 time for the 94 gt?

Thanks.

Around what kind of 1/4 time would the 94 gt with those mods be getting, low 14's?
How would it do against a stock 00 gt 5 speed in the 1/4?

Auto LT-1's are low 15sec cars. The Mustang with those mods is a mid to low 14 sec car. It all depends on traction and driver skill though.

I raced a 96 auto LT-1 with a stall, shift kit, full exhaust, CAI, and all the free mods. I had gears, pulleys, bumped timing and no air silencer. (stock exhuast) I was at his door until 50 or 60 when he started to pull. If I could have launched my car better back then instead of spinning the **** out of the tires I could have kept up with him alot better.

I would put my money on the Mustang without a doubt.

Yeah, when I was at the 1/8 mile track I raced a 93-97 LT-1 auto with a crank pulley...that's pretty much it and he was running mid to high 9's. Which is high 14's to mid 15's.

o.k. if an auto lt1 is running 15's why is it that just about everyone that posted in this thread said my car a "low to mid 14 sec car" will either loose to the lt1 or that the lt1 will catch up to me and it will be a close race.If I'm not mistaken isn't .1 in the 1/4 the same as 1 car length which would seperate my car from the lt1 .5 in the 1/4 so shouldn't I have around a 5 car lead on him? Now either I'm missing something or don't understand. Please forgive me,I'm new to this stuff.
