I'm posting this thread from Scotland and I have never seen a 2005 Mustang, even when driving anywhere in the UK, so I have nothing to go on...
I am planning to buy a Convertible GT Premium. Here is a leading question.... do I go for Sonic Blue or Black? Does the black go with the roof colour or fight it?
More questions:
Is the roof Vinyl or Mohair?
are there developments coming that I should wait for... 6 speed box, are other upgrades due?
Are any of the options essential or just adding money? Do I need a Premium model?
Some advice and opinions would be welcome

Black is by far the worst and best color of all. It is in a category of its own. That's all I have to say.

Black is hard to keep looking clean, plus it shows any imperfections in the finish. I prefer loud colors (loud & proud) but so do the cops with their radar

Personally, I would opt for the Sonic Blue over black. That blue is a nice color. But, I'm not much of a black car person.

The black goes with the roof if the roof is black!

Here's some pics of a black convertible.. maybe someone will post a sonic blue one so you can compare.

My vote is for sonic blue. Black is a royal PITA...it looks great when pristine, but only when pristine. Not only that, but black is so common. You don't see sonic blue as often as black. Just my opinion...of course it's tainted because I owned a black car - once.
