WHAT DO U THINK I'LL PUT DOWN??

Well I blew my motor about a month ago and I bought stock 98 gt shortblock that has new bearings in it...only has 40k on it. My car is 1997 Mustang GT Convertible Automatic.....I'm doing the P.I. swap on it also. My current mods are MAC long-tubes, MAC h-pipe w/cats, MAC Flowpath Catback, BBK Cold air intake, Steeda Pulleys, Granatelli plenum, BBK 75mm throttle body. the P.I. heads are completely stock .

I know the compression will be raised to about 10.5 and going through a Automatic (was rebuilt 30k miles ago) will lower it more than a manual. Plus my 4.10's will take like 5hp and 5tq away.

I'm hoping for about 260hp and 300tq at the wheels....

I won't be able to tune it for alittle time so I know i won't get the full amount out of it.

What is your estimate untuned??? Tuned???

Ill say around 245-250RWHP at best...

with the pi swap and lt's id say you could get around 260

My old 98 put down 280 hp and 307 tq after tune.but i had cams, a 5spd, and a couple more mods than you.

I would think with a tune you would be able to put down around 250-260 but thats just my uneducated guess.

I say 245rwhp. I put down 265 with everything you got , but on a new 03 GT motor and 5spd. No more NPI!!
