What do y'all think about this car?

I have a buddy who can get the trans out faster than i can get the car on jack stands...and i'm not even exaggerating

Once it's up on stands, take off the shifter ball, drop the drive shaft, take out the trans to bell bolts, lay under the trans on your back and pull it out so it falls on your chest, then roll it over on the ground and viola. Then, in Haynes manual fashion, reverse disassembly to reinstall lol.

I'm almost dreading the day I have to upgrade to a stronger/heavier trans- I won't be able to bench press it in and out anymore, haha.

IDK, man that car looks kind of rough, $2500 does seem kinda high. The car does look savable, but I agree with the other guys, I probably would offer $1500.

Maybe it is just my location in texas, but all the other foxes in this shape around here are in the 4k+ range. I'm not real worried about cosmetics. and as far as that goes, i thought it was rather clean since it's 20 years old.

that interior looks like crap. is it really black interior when it has grey arms on black door panels? not to mention the grey seats. the added red seat belts ain't doing it for me. it's also missing the passenger kick panel. that carpet is done for.

Well I picked up my 91 for $3900 in Austin with working A/C and heat. The car isn't perfect obviously but there was very little monkeyed with it. If you want to get the car I say go for it, but be prepared to have to work on it regularly, it also wouldn't hurt to keep looking around to get a feel for your local market.

So you got yours for 3900. For that extra 1400, you think i can get used interior parts, new carpet, the molding on the doors and still have a little money left for the stuff under the hood? A good friend of mine's grandpa has a wrecking yard. I believe he has a couple of stangs.

Never mind guys. He sold it. I was supposed to look at it tomorrow. i work 7 days a week and ended up taking off just to go look at it. I guess i'll just keep looking. Thank you for your time and sorry to waist it. Hopefully another one will come around.
