what does a used 3.8 cost on average?

I may buy a 96 w/a blown motor & was wondering how hard it is to find one & what they usually cost on average?
any ideas?

I don't know any numbers or if they're easy to find. Being a '96, it shouldn't be outrageously priced or too hard to get ahold of. The first thing that came to my mind was to call a few Ford dealers and see if they sell what's called a crate motor for the car. Hope this helps, sorry I don't know more but it's a starting point!
