What gauges to get?

I'm torn between 3 sets of gauges for my 69 mustang restomod. Here's the plan for the interior right now:
- smoothed lower dash wrapped in vinyl (glovebox welded shut as well as removing the headlight and wiper knobs. I'm planning on replacing the headlight switch with a more modern switch from an mkV euro golf)
- recovering the deluxe woodgrain dash with carbon fiber
- sparco, recaro, or corbeau seats with 4 point harnesses
- roll bar
- custom door panels based on the deluxe door panels
- and probably a 7" screen thrown in there when I figure out the stereo situation

1st choice - Autometer Cobalt Series - backlit blue LED - i like these because they are the most modern without being overly gaudy and are backlit rather than sidelit.

2nd choice
Autometer Lunar Series - green glow lighting - look sweet with the lights off but not sure how I'm really going to like the green glow.

3rd and 4th - tie
Autometer Phantom series - sidelit - white face

Classic G/Stock series gauges
look the most like stock - which is kinda cool but may work against my whole theme

i like the cobalt...have you seen the carbon fiber seriese? thos are really nice. they are in the Yellow fast back in mustangs and fords (its the one boyd did) the most modern looking guages that i have seen are the autometer Nexus ( http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugeop.aspx?sid=42 ) i think i am going to go with the carbon fiber series. i have them in my focus and i like the way they look.

yeah the nexus gauges are sweet... they remind me of defis but they don't make all the gauges I need nor the correct sizes

I say go with the Cobalt. They are similar to what I'm considering as "stage 2" of my 65 restomod, so I like 'em. Very easy to read, too.

with respect to the Classic Instruments gauges, keep in mind that they don't have a lot of gauges other than the basics. Some day you might want a few extra gauges to mount on a pillar or pod or in place of your radio and you will be forced to get different gauges that won't match.

Looks like the nexus don't have matching speedo and tach though... so how can you do a whole installation with them?

This is a bad angle, but i just used the existing dash screw
