what heads??

what kind of heads would go with my set up??? i'm trying to stay with pedestal mount rocker arms... i'm also looking to spend around $1000.00... i found a set of gt40x's for $989.00 is that a good set of heads??? they're suppose to add about 65 horsepower....or what about gt40y's?? thanks

save up a little more and buy some good heads like TFS or 165's

ok...but with the trick flow heads, won't i have to get stud mounted roller rockers and hardened push rods??? i'm not sure about the afr's though...i'm trying to stay with pedestal mount....

the holley sytemax II heads are a good head for around that price.

the X or the Y heads will build good power, Keep the ped mount and dont worry about the "gatta get" or "have to have".. you will be happy with either!! cool??
