What is everyones Car Goals?

Anyone make it to their goal yet? Let's hear it. I'll start ... no

I haven't seen my car in over 4 months, that is how long the guy has taken to put in the new motor and tranny. After that, I will need to do all this:

dyno/tune
get new coil overs and struts
get new paint
get the seats recovered
get new carpet
fix the radio or get a new one
fix the steering

my short term goal is to just get the damn thing back in front of my house!

pull out the tranny to upgrade the input shaft and new synch rings. put the new clutch and flywheel in. get the driveshaft checked/balanced. put in the line lock. put the rear diff. cover/girdle.

get new rear wheels to mount drag radials or slicks.
get methonal injection

got the tranny back in with the new flywheel/clutch/etc. ITS AWESOME!!!!!

linelock is going to be put in hopefully next weekend along with the rear girdle.

new rear wheels and drag radials - not yet.

meth kit - got just haven't installed it yet.

so all and all, i think i'm pretty close to what i wanted to accomplish. hooray for me :D

For me this years goals are:

Replace the stock K-member and A arms with PA Racing unit, and a Strange Front Coil over setup. (I am in the middle of this right now)

Drop the T-56 out, and replace the aluminum bellhousing with the SFI certified unit.

Install the MM Rollbar, and the 5 pt harnesses.

Upgrade the rearend with 31 Superior axles, Eaton Diff, and Ford Racing Girdle. Also install the adjustable Strange rear shocks.

Put in the Fluidyne Radiator, and the Mezire electric water pump.

All the parts are sitting on the shelf in the garage ready to be put on, I just would like to have a few days that get above 40F so I don't freeze my junk off working on the car in my unheated garage.

Mine is in my sig.... and I have 4 w/e's to complete it. A few pieces I need are in the works. My stall is in CA... hopefully I'll have it back soon.

In the works:

331 TF H/C/I on probe forged pistons. My goal is not HP but 1/4 mile times. I want to run what I did on the bottle - 12.79 N/A and then spray that and see where it lands.

Suspension work is in the near future. ET streets are here, Sub-frames will be here today. And the battery relocation has been done. Transmission has been upgraded yet further than in the past. We'll see if this pig can fly soon.

I've completely changed my goal pretty much. Instead of a 290ish hp budget combo, I'm gonna get a block this summer and build a stroker over the next year or two as time allows. No sense pouring any more money into my stock 160k engine, just gonna start fresh. I'm thinking a high compression 306 with afr 185's, performer rpm II and an agressive cam. Wanna see about 355hp at the wheels. I want as close to a dohc 4.6 power profile as I can get out of a 306 (only with more power of course)

Well, partially. I got the procharger installed, but I gotta finish up the fuel system (hopefully today) and then get it tuned (not too hopeful that i'll get it to the place though as a major blizzard is rolling through tonight and tomorrow.)

I just want to get the *#*!&#$ ABS and CEL lights to turn off!!!!! And i'll try to get the rattles and vibrations taken care of this year (exhaust, steering, suspension). Bleh
\\

One word "Greatstuff." Just don't do what I did to get rid of the e-brake handle rattle. I drilled holes in it and sprayed great stuff into it. ...too much though and it no workee anymore. STOPPED RATTLING THOUGH!
