I do plan on doing a 5 lug swap on 88 GT. And possibly going 17x9 on the tires. But I want to do everything right the first time. Any input greatly appreciated.

If you do "spirited" driving a lot then you may want to get them. For me... I got Ford B springs, poly isolators and CC plates. Drives fine.
