I will be 62 next month, which makes me the second oldest active person in the 5.0 arena. I have had my 89 GT since 1992. It had about 50,000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has over 290,000 miles on it.

Mines got 207 w/o a rebuild, but its starting to show its age. It's had a rough life for the past 6 1/2 years.

First engine went to 183,000 miles, original T5 trans lasted to 173,000 miles. The current engine has oil consumption or an oil leak, so unless I fix the problem, it won't last as long as the first engine. The trans (Tremec 3550) has had 1 rebuild because it had an oil leak and ran low on oil.

The car needs a paint job and I need more hair and less waist. We are both showing signs of how long we have been around...

I'm the oldest so far... 41. Now some of the goofy posts I see on here are starting to make sense... mostly young guys just getting their feet wet. (shakes head) BTW, I get a kick out of the ones who say I'm 19... but I'm gonna be 20 soon. LOL. At my age, I guess I should be saying, "I'm 41... but I used to be 40." That's funny stuff right there!

You got me by a year.

Use to scratch my head some too. Now I use my 17 year old son to translate for me. Forum turned him from wannabe ricer trash to a stang lover.:SNSign:

Too bad he'll never drive one under MY insurance...........

26, I've had an 83 GLX 5.0, and a Black 07 GT. I have my 90 LX 5.0, and my 07 Grabber Orange GT. My 90 was bought by my father new. Remember the day he brought it home. I doubt I'll ever be without a Fox. The fox is nice to drive every now and then... and keep it basically a garage queen. The 07 gets the **** beat out of it every day, even when it's snowing and icy! Just keep the AWD van for the really bad days.

44 - bought the '85 GT brand new in Langhorne, PA for 11K and some change. So poor was I as an E-3 in the Marine Corps I had to get a cosigner. Can't ever imagine not having this car around.

I'm 21. Bought my first Mustang(also my first car) in may of 2004. Did some minor bolt ons to it and it was running 14's. I bought my 91 coupe in june I believe of '06 and also just bought a 2007 Mazdaspeed 6 in august of this year.
