What is the best oil for the break in period?

I know you dont break any engine in with synthetic, but im wondering if i should use something simple like Castrol 10w30 (what i use in everything else) or if theres a better/worse oil to use for break in. Its going to be a while before i turn the key, but i just want to have it on hand since im getting everything else right now.

I have used the most basic oil I could find. For example, I didn't want any "high mileage" formulations. I just used a name brand oil (either 10W-40 or 10W-30, stick to the Ford recommendations for stock 302) and changed it after running for about 20 minutes, after 500 miles, and I will again after 1000 miles. I have yet to decide when to move to Mobil 1 synth. I probably change it way too often, but with cheaper oils I don't care.

X2 :stupid:

for break in, just go with a clean, good, brand name oil (castrol works), and after a short break in, change it to get all your assembly lube out...don't forget to get filters too, motorcraft, purolator, proline, mobil, wix, k&n... (stay away from FRAM, STP, or Quacker State-bad filters-bad bad!)
