Just curious if anyone knows this or has measured it. I'm going to try to check it on my shimmed GT40 springs since I'm trying to figure out whether or not I need new ones.
I was planning to use the valve compressing tool (the one you use while the head is mounted) to max it out and measure the height. Then re-install the rocker, read the height again and find the difference to check that I have at least .060" left in the spring.
If anyone has a better, clever way to do this please let me know!:SNSign:

I know my installed height will vary from what most people have since I'm running a valve job and new valves.
