never thought much of it, but its been there since i bought the car.



car was supposedly an undercover in its early life, could it be some sort of antenna mount?

Certainly doesn't look stock to me, dunno wtf it is though.

Turbonator Version 2.9 ..... It adds ~200 HP.

i guess i need to add a few more. A couple in the cylinders should help too

The mystery part appears to be whats left of a switch for an aftermarket alarm. When it was armed and the trunk was opened it would trigger it.

i have a similar bracket. the guy i bought it from said its for a cd changer.

To think a mercury switch would have been so much cleaner (who would use a pin switch in a trunk like that)?
