what kind of Helmet to buy???

I need a helmet since I will be running below 14.0 this time out.

Needs to be Snell 95, 2000, or 2005

I don't need anything fancy or epensive; I also don't know if I should go with a full face helmet or an open helmet. Seems like a full face helmet would be a distraction but I've never raced with either.

Any suggestions??

Motorcycle helmets differ from racing helmets in that they don't have to meet minimum standards for fire resistance.

that depends, its not like they are going to inspect your helmet, as long as you got one. 795.0Pacecar uses his old bike helmets. I am prettty sure thats what he said when we went.

I know it's a little on the pricey side, but hey, it's your head. You can't do much without it.

Just get a cheap HJC bike helmet. Like 80 bucks shipped, and snell approved.

My full faced Simpson helmet ran me about $300, but I think my face is worth it, hah.

HJC makes great quality helmets for the price, i have 3 and love them all.
