Whats your exhaust set up? Can you swing for a good cam? Through an AOD with that combo, i'll say 310hp. The track will tell the real story ;)
the aod is fully built with a full manual valve body.....and yes i do plan on upgrading the cam a little later...exhaust setup includes, longtube headers, bbk h pipe and flowmasters

Silly....that's gonna give you 30 or 40 hp!! Actually, it makes sense that a well machined and balanced motor will make a little more power.....but 30-40 hp? Lets just say its true so that we don't ruin Emagdim's high. Mums the word. Lets just play along.

HP figures "out in the air" are annoying anyway... getting a dyno tune will help get the most power from timing and tuning also give what power the engine is making. There a lot of "400hp" cars floating around in the 13 to 14 second range where I live lol

Ive read several articles where torque plate honing has gotten close to 30hp... thats also why alot of those engine short block builders advertise there engines make 30 - 40hp more due to the torque plate honing.

i have never dynoed any of my cars..... just kind of saw it as a waste of money i guess.....track time are more interesiting, i was just curious what people with similar combinations are making....i would like think over 350hp on a 331 with afr heads but i guess i could be wrong?
