what kind of times do 99 cobras run?

My friend just bought a 99 cobra that is bone stock. I'm wondering what kind of 1/8 and 1/4 times he should expect. We are taking the car to the track tomorrow and we wanted something to compare it to. The car is a manual with 3.55 gears. The car seems to be pretty quick as he is outrunning lots of people on the street. What should we expect at the track?

Depends on the driver. I would expect mid to high 13's with a good 60ft. time. If you suffer wheel hop like I did my first time at the track, you could see 14's.

I ran 13.7 at 104 mph with just a BBK CAI and nitto tires the 555 not the drag radials.

I guessed faster than that because he outran a boy that runs 8.50's through the 1/8.......... Maybe it's a fluke, but he does outrun other cars that are low to mid 13 sec cars. My car runs 7.90's on motor and I got him by about 5 cars through the 1/4. I don't know, guess we'll find out tonight.

If you race someone on the street and catch them at the optimum RPM, then I can see that. But the launch is most of the reason the 99-01 Cobra's get mid/high 13's at the track (IRS). Put a solid axle in the car and it will immediatly go down to low 13's stock.
