*I know this is 94/95 and I have a 92, but i'm looking for as many opinions as possible and its all 5.0*

I found myself a sweet deal for some Bassani longtubes and I am buying them tomorrow. Now I need to pick a 3" mid pipe. Obviously I know I can run a 3" bassani X pipe but i'm wondering if a mac prochamber will work? What are YOU using and how is the fit?

Also, the bassani longtubes come with a slip on ball/socket 3" collector correct?

Sparky, :D

The only person I know of that is running Bassani headers is Viper-something or another. His name is Anthony, and I actually haven't seen him around in a long time.

The Prochamber should bolt right up. Bassani is good quality stuff and so is the Prochamber, so I wouldn't think there is a problem....

I never messed with Bassani headers, so I can't answer your other question. :D

Don't know the answer to your Q, but.......I see your looking for options and I wanted to tell you something I've seen several times but don't know if it is fact or just internet myth.

Headers with the ball & socket collector connections restrict the flow somewhat.

I do find it interesting that the race type headers use the 3 bolt flange and not the b & s connectors.

Grady, that B/S design might hurt power a tad. I guess if I were a class nmra racer it would matter. I found these headers for sale on a message board and I sent the link to Ed for his thoughts if I should buy or not. His response was short, sweet and to the point: "Buy now!" :D I'm getting them for $275 to my door which is a good deal IMO.

Why the prochamber?

Because I don't like X pipes, but chances are i'll end up with a 3" bassani X.
