Don't buy a damn hood unless you need it. It'll KILL the lines of your car. Don't buy a damn cowl hood unless you need it. And no, it's NOT functional. A cowl hood actually worked back in the day when the cowl was sealed to the carb and the air that swirls around the windshield at speed actually gets sucked/pushed into the carb. And no... A cowl hood does not vent underhood heat. It does the opposite. Get a panhard setup and a torque arm. Make that thing stick to the road.
