what mod

im stuck on what mod to do next. im thinking about a cam or throttle body. which one is better for the buck? i have alot of mods already, but my car feels slow. i have cai pulleys adfpr headers smog delete electric fan x-pipe flows edelbrock rpm intake 190 pump 410s and 150 shot of spray but it just feels slow. help decide. iwas thinking of the b cam or a 70mm throttle body. also what fuel pressure do you guys run? and i have 10 degrees timing now will bumping it up to 14 make a huge difference? thanks jason

if you are still running the stock heads then I might wait until the head swap to do the cam personally. go with a 65mm throttle body and 1.7 or 1.72 rockers. they are cheap and you will need them anyway.

i also agree on the timing advance with the spray. you running cooler plugs or what?

next i would concentrate on the heads because the stock heads are only corking up the combo.

oh and get used to it feeling slow. it is because you are used to it. no matter what you do in the future, at some point you will get used to it and it will feel slow again. it is just the way it goes in this hobby.

i have stock injectors and maf. so you guys think i should wait till i get heads before i mess with a cam. i am running two stage cooler plugs now. i have never ran car with timing at 14 just at 10. it went 13.98 with a 2.00 60 ft. but i think there is alot left in it, thats motor also. i want to be at the 12 teens range soon so any tips would help. thanks jason

look into thumpers heads for 700 they put people into the 12's N/A. just nice ported e7's with a 150 shot you should be in the 11's easy.

true about the 12's but most people who use thumper heads either buy a package with a cam, or they already have a cam.

he sells packages with the b, e, or custom cam.

you might ponder some 24's and a 70, 73, or 75mm mass air meter too.

When was the last time you re-packed your LSD? Also what have you done to your suspension? Cheap azz tires are also a no-no. Recent tune up or a dyno tune? Check the simple stuff first...its always better to error on the conservative side.
