Hey all.
Looking for a bit of guidance.
Just finished building a 352 stroker. Forged everything. Comp Cam (nitrous/blower ground). AFR 185s, Air gap intake and 600cfm edelbrock.

I have a 8.8 rear (yes i know, but it's light), and 3.08 gears. 215/50/15 tires.

Traction bars and subframe connectors. 5 speed with a RAM Clutch 3 finger 900lb springs i believe.

What is my next move? I kind of want to save and do a 4 link, but then I also want to throw some nitrous on it, but then I want to do a supercharger/turbo.
I was really thinking for right now. new gears (3.55s) and some ET streets on a extra set of rims.

Thanks for the help guys!

I have a 352 stroker (302 + 0.060 over + 3.4 crank). I'm using a C8 Mexican Block. Are you using a Std. 302 or aftermarket block or something else?

You need to post more info about you motor (cam specs, compression, etc). and intended driving use to get a better response.

A 600 cfs carb seems small for your application (need more info)?
Blower or Turbo - was the motor bulit for these addons?
RPM range for rearend setup, where do you plan to drive this car (track, highway, around town)?

Let us know.

Std 302 for now. I am setting aside money for a DART block that I have on hold from a friend who works for a restoration shop. Really good deal. But I do not forsee me needing it yet.

Yes I know the 600 seems small. But I was told and agree with that it will work well until I decide to go blow through, etc.

The RPM range is tough. idle-6000?

It's a street car basically, but I certainly do not mind good all around manners. Ok, more track than street. Street/strip lets say.

The motor is quite strong I must say. Forged crank, forged H beam rods, forged Mahle pistons.

Here's the specs for the cam.

Compression comes out to 9.0-9.1: 1
AFR 185s
1.6 RR

Anything else needed let me know!

Based on what you supplied...I think the next purchase should be rearend gearing. With a 5-speed and somewhere close to a 6500 shift point, I would go beyond the 3.55 and shoot for at least 3.89 to 4.33 (I know these are 9" gearing numbers, but use the equivalent 8.8 gears). Since you have small diameter tires on back, use one of the online calculators to find out what your rpms will be truning at different speeds (and later with the ETs). Proper gearing will make that car feel stronger.

The carb will work fine, but might limit you at the upper rpm range.

Yup. I put it in with 3.73s and with my tires and the ETs it would be around 4-5grand going 100mph.
Ordering some 3.73s, RP gear oil, and a cover tonight.

ditch the edejunk carb

thats probably 20-30hp right there.

At least go with a holley, which will make it easier if you decide to do blow-thru later on.

I will probably just suck it up and save to get a proform or QF carb over the summer.
