What offset wheels for '94 with 17x 9 inch rims?

What offset wheels for '94 with 17x 9 inch rims? Is it +24mm?

Also what are the widest tires that will fit in the back on any size rim without worrying about them hitting? The car isn't lowered.

Most of the offsets I've seen are around 24mm. Widest you can fit without modification is 315's on a stock height car.
