Thanks. The engine does come with plugs. I called Ford Racing for the plug number and gap, but all I got was "um I"m not sure what the number is and I think it's stock gap. I just wanted all the info for my mechanic when it came. It's on the way.
I use to run an Autolite #24 . .052 gap with my old 302 with 15* advanced timing. I did not know if this new engine used a different plug.
exactly the same...if the heads are aluminum make sure (as with all bolts going into aluminum) to use antisieze on the threads...not alot, just a touch.
im using an aftermarket ignition(cane hi-6,crane coil,motorsport 9mm wires) and im running .075 plug gap and it has really helped smoothe the idle and pick up some of the responce
