I purchased a Ford Racing 5.0 GT-40 crate motor #m-6007-xb3m.
What plugs and gap should I be running with this motor?
Thanks

Im sure there must be paper work with your motor. If not just call your local Ford dealer.

With my MSD coil/6AL I opened my gap to .055

Stock gap is .054 most run there, I like .045 but it's personal preference..no performance advantage.

Thanks. The engine does come with plugs. I called Ford Racing for the plug number and gap, but all I got was "um I"m not sure what the number is and I think it's stock gap. I just wanted all the info for my mechanic when it came. It's on the way.
I use to run an Autolite #24 . .052 gap with my old 302 with 15* advanced timing. I did not know if this new engine used a different plug.

exactly the same...if the heads are aluminum make sure (as with all bolts going into aluminum) to use antisieze on the threads...not alot, just a touch.
