I have a 94 GT Convt. Its got the usual bolt-ons, Including MAC equal length Shorties. I have yet to find a plug and wire combo that doesnt melt after a thousand miles. I've tried the accel built your own, and I'm not a big fan. The biggest problem is the #2 wire because it is so close to the primary. Please help!
What plug wires do you all suggest?

My friend has red 9mm Ford Racing Performance wires on his 95 GT with MAC long tubes and a Pro charger 600b....they fit good and he hasn't melted one yet. Try to buy some of those boots that resist heat that fit over the ends that click onto the spark plugs.
Check out something along the lines of heat sheilds....

I run Livewires...they have a glass braided, heat resistant covering over the wires....The wires are 100.00 at set though...I had em lay on my LTs and it never touched em at all...so they work..You may be better off with something that goes over the boot and onto the wire some with Eq L's??

The AFM 8mm have 50 less ohms reistance per foot than FRPP, and had a SOTP improvement ovet the FRPP wires. The kicker is they're the same price as the FRPP wires, $39.00 In order to use these wires, just like the FRPP you'll have to go to your local parts store and get the high performance heat boots for your wires so they don't burn. I also heard that one can get wires specifically for equal length shorties with 90* boots.

AFM shortie plus wires its what I have and there are no need for wire looms cause they are just long enough to fit. Similar to the FMS wires but less resistance.

The AFM wires are really good from what I have seen, but they need other colors besides yellow and purple.

The biggest thing to do is make sure you get those wire joiners so they are nice and tight. Secure them any way you can. I did mine with some zip ties and it works great, until I got the holders.
The smaller 2 wire holders are important too.
