Anybody have any suggestions on what rear control arms to get. I just got a sweet deal on a Detroit True-Trac, and I'm going to rebuild an 8.8 I got out of an 89 GT. I've got new 3.73's and the new diff ready but I was thinking I might as well put new controls arms on now since I'm gonna have the whole rear-end out of the car since I'm swapping from a 7.5 to the 8.8. Also, should I go ahead and reinforce the torque boxes while I'm back there? What kind of brake line problems am I going to run into with the swap? If anybody has got some good suggestions let me know.

THESE are my favorites

AutoWeld has some nice arms, too. The regular adjustable arms are about 1/2-way down the page

Then there are the affordable, non-adjustable sets like THESE from JD's Performance. More than adequate for a daily driver. Huge improvements over the stock arms. I have a similar set from Factory Five and the only reason I took them off was to install an Autoweld SuperStang 9" setup. I'm thinking about putting them on the notch since they're just collecting dust at the moment anyway.

I have MM's Control Arms and love them. They are built very well and it made a big difference for my 1990 GT Conv.

I ran the Metco's and they are very nice, pricey but they are very strong and work well.

Is this a Drag or Cornering suspension? I know where you can get a nice TQ box re-enforcement kit
