Car: 88 LX
daily driver (no racing what-so-ever)

Looking for STOCK replacement shocks / struts. Do not want adjustables, racing application etc.

What brands do you guys use on your daily drivers?

Oh, think Edlebrock monotubes are way over priced (189$) and noticed NAPA 15 dollar shocks probably wouldn't last too long...something in between.

Many thanks for your help.

I think I have a problem here.

KYBs I hear are good stock replacements, but I have no experience w/them.

If you want to up the bucks, Bilsteins can't be touched when it comes to the street!

KYB's all the way. I even have them on my beater car. Check out www.p-s-t.com they have good service and deals going. They are firmer than other replacement shocks, but you will love it. Gas-adjust rear, GR2 front, all around, both cars.

I have driven a few mustangs with different shock/strut combos. all were lowered so I don't think that will make to much of a difference. Well my friends car had KYB's all around it was a very veery hard ride. I had tokico all around and KYB's for the quads. The car felt great and I didn't feel every bump.
