I would think if you are trying to make your car handle any better, probably needs it being a v6 vert, Cutting springs would barely make a difference, and probably handle a lil worse.

but if you just want it for looks and don't want to take turns fast, go for the HU and cut the springs. Personally, I think it would be fun as hell taking turns alot faster than I can now with some decent susp. stuff.


i could really care less how it handles im not going to race it. when a bigger engine goes in then ill worry how it handles. till then, im going for the looks.

im already one step a head of getto boy up there. mine dont got dubs on it:D

i think im leaving it dumped. its louder that way and i think it dont sound bad this way.

i think by now it would be easier to just tell them to give me money and ill buy what i want with it lol. because i still cant find out what i want for it.

its not an opion right now. in 2008 would be my guess when i will get a 5.0 sometime in spring i hope at the latest.

Yeah, my eibach springs that I ain't putting on yet, so i'm playing with them :p are so stiff, they won't budge, even when I am oractically breaking my arms lol, so I say lowering springs, but if you get them now, you'll have to get v8 ones later, or it will sit high.


or just get v8 lowering springs now and call it good. many people run 4cyl spings up front, and while it does look like crap, they work.
 
Just get the springs and shocks etc... Or if they will give a good deal of money for for a cheap 5-lug set up and grab some cheapo wheels off Ebay for now. Then when your worrying about V8s and still arent allowed to drop one in, buy some nice wheels and tires. Then you should be old enough to have the V8, and the car like you said will be painted, new top, 5-lug, lowered on some nice wheels and tires. Then drop the 5.0 in and your good to go!

Wow, thats a good mindset to have.. You don't even have your license yet and you're dictating what you're going to do and just whats going to happen.

Here is what really will happen, You'll frick up that V6, and be out of a car. I venture to say that your Dad isn't an idiot after he denies you from a V8... I doubt he'll buy that story... And that is his car legally anyways, correct?

If you are paying for a car all by yourself there are more important things that an expensive engine swap... Starting out paying for insurance, regestration and gas all by yourself.. blowing a motor in it wouldn't be a wise idea.

As for a Bday present.. If the car needs new tires nows the time to get them, Your pony rims look great so why change those. Springs would also be a good investment, but If you like the floaty smooth ride now.. Then don't get some lowering springs haha.
