The 94 in my sig has mostly appearance stuff done to it, but i want a little more pep to it... I was gonna throw a set of gears in it, but I'm afraid the tranny will crap out (automatic tranny) since it has about 160K on it. It runs fine now just dont wanna jinx it... i alreay installed a cat-back and o/r h-pipe... what should do next? pullies...CAI... shorties... or should i just go ahead and do the gears? help me make a decision guys...

I would get some aluminum pulleys and go ahaed and get the gears. I f you have the trany reprogramed to the new gears you shouldnt have any problems with them.

GEARS are one of the best bang for the buck on our cars. Pulleys i'll tell you when they show up how well they do. Oh, there is no reprograming of the tranny you just have to change the speedo gear which cost $15 and take about 10 min to change.

If you have an automatic you will need to get at least a chip to fix the shift points. If manual then just a simple speedo gear swap.

4:10 or 4:30 GEARS! The pep (torque) you want will implant you to the seat.

yeah.. gears and pulleys.. if your 94 dies though you can just buy a new one and move the parts over
